Rev. Dr. Steven Lee was born to Mr. and Mrs. Granville Lee on May 8, 1958, in Pueblo, Colorado and was baptized at the age of 12. Reverend Lee graduated from Los Altos High School in 1976 and shortly after he entered the U.S. Army where he met his beautiful wife of 35 yeears, “Biscuit” Ki Pun Lee. Together they have two sons – Steven Jr. and Scotty Lee; and six grandchildren. He is a devoted family man that has always believed in the basic family values of raising his family in the church.

Dr. Lee was ordained as a Deacon on June 26, 1994, and shortly thereafter announced his Calling to the ministry. He preached is first sermon on November 13, 1994. He was ordained and licensed in the ministry in 1996 at Shiloh Baptist Church and is one of the many sons of the late Dr. E.S. Brazil. Dr. Lee has an AA, BA and Master of Theology for the A.L. Hardy Academy in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Lee pastored Antioch Baptist Church for six years and returned back to Shiloh Baptist Church under the present pastor, Rev. Dr. Gregory Christopher. Dr. Lee was installed as the pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church on April 26, 2009 after Galilee reopened having been closed for two years.

Dr. Lee is involved in several associations, the NAACP (lifetime member), Tacoma Urban League, Associated Ministries, National Baptist Convention USA Inc., the North Pacific Baptist Convention and Ebenezer Baptist District Association. His favorite Scripture is Matthew 7:17-20.

First Lady Lee was born on August 23, 1952. Her place of birth is Kyong Ki Do, South Korea. She comes from a large family of five brothers and five sisters. Sister Lee became a newborn Christian in 1982. Her main Calling is ministering to others through song. She is always willing to lend an ear, a shoulder or a helping hand to anyone in need. Her favorite Scripture is Psalm 37:4-6.
